Our Principles Towards Healing are Simple:
1. Add what is missing in the body to help its physiology back to optimal functioning.
2. Remove anything that impedes the body from moving toward that state of physiology. Functional medicine identifies the factors responsible for the malfunction, then it deals with individual factors which are unique to each patient.
Functional Medicine is not new. It represents the return to the roots of modern medicine.
"The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease."
Sir William Osler, one of the first professors at John Hopkins University School of Medicine
