                                                                                                                            We have recently added the capability of allowing you to schedule your appointment online for greater convenience.   Dr. Gaertner sees only functional medicine patients on Fridays.  If you need an appointment later in the afternoon, please contact the office at 208-467-5994  
    During these uncertain times with Covid 19 our scheduling is changing.  I am trying to accommodate patients due to social isolation.  If you have been sick please do not make an appointment . We continue to monitor as things as they change.
    If you are a new patient or have not been seen for over 6 months please print and complete the New Patient Paperwork, listed as Intake Form as well as HIPAA, and Consent to treat forms.  Bring them with you to your scheduled appointment.  
    If you are a new functional medicine patient please print and complete the FM Health History form, HIPAA and Consent to treat forms and return to the office prior to making your appointment.

Many people have asked me "How do I start exercising when I haven't for years?"  There are many many ways just to start.  Walk around the block, park the farthest from the grocery store, and walk.  To the left is a list of some things you can do  as well.  You can modify these to what you are capable of doing and walk two to three days a week and do this routine 2 to 3 days a week.  Give it a try!  Make sure you have had a physical and your body is ready to start!  Then go for it!
